Brooke Bagley Worthy
Brooke Bagley Worthy comes to us as the director of the Oxford Civic Chorus beginning in the Fall of 2009. Brooke is a Fulbright Scholarship recipient who studied at the Zolton Kodaly Pedagogical Institute of Music in Kecskemet, Hungary from 2004 to 2005. She earned both her Bachelors and Masters of Music from the University of Mississippi in 2003 and 2005.
Most recently Brooke has been the choral music director for the Oxford Middle School, a private voice teacher for the Oxford Academy of Fine Arts and the children’s choir director for St. Peter’s Episcopal Church of Oxford.
In 2001, Brooke co-founded a women’s quartet, Perfect Fourth. From 2002 to 2004 she held the title of Assistant Director of Women’s Ensemble/Glee for the University of Mississippi. Brooke was also the Oxford Children’s Choir Artistic Director from 2002 to 2004 and then again in 2006.
